Crispy Parmesan Chicken Cutlets

Make these Crispy Parmesan Chicken Cutlets for a flavorful, golden, and crunchy dish perfect for dinner or meal prepping. Thin chicken breasts are coated in seasoned panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and spices, then fried to perfection. Serve warm with your favorite sides for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • Chicken: Thin-sliced chicken breasts
  • For Breading: All-purpose flour, seasoned salt, eggs, water, hot sauce (optional), panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, Parmesan cheese
  • For Frying: Light cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chicken: Trim excess fat and pat chicken breasts dry. Pound to even thickness if needed.
  2. Set Up Coating Station:
    • Bowl 1: Mix flour and seasoned salt.
    • Bowl 2: Whisk eggs, water, and hot sauce (if using).
    • Bowl 3: Combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Parmesan.
  3. Bread the Chicken: Coat each chicken breast in the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally the breadcrumb mixture. Set aside.
  4. Fry: Heat oil in a skillet to 350°F. Fry chicken cutlets 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Fry in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  5. Drain & Serve: Place fried cutlets on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil. Serve warm.

Pro Tip: For extra crunch, use Panko breadcrumbs and fry in small batches to maintain oil temperature!
